OUR STORY

If we were sitting across the table right now—maybe coffee in hand, maybe a little mascara smudge from the tears you didn’t expect to cry—I’d look you in the eye and tell you this:

You are not alone in this journey.

Unveiled Living started back in 1997, not as a brand or a ministry dream, but in the middle of my own storm. Buried in medical debt with barely enough money to buy groceries. And somehow, I ended up

speaking at a women’s retreat, where the pastor’s wife said, “Just bring joy.” So I did.

We laughed until one woman nearly peed her pants. (True story. Bless her.)

But in the middle of all that laughter, something cracked open. I found myself saying,

“I’m going to lift the veil off my face and tell you what’s really going on…”

That moment—that raw, unscripted moment—became the seed that grew into this ministry.

The veil may be hardship, pain, mistakes, shame, disappointment, or defeat—the parts of our stories we would rather keep hidden. Yet through my own life, I have learned that when we are willing to share what we have walked through, someone else begins to realize:

I’m not alone.
She understands.
She has been there too.

That is where Unveiled Living was born.

It was born through the seasons when I felt alone in my journey.

But as I began to look at the stories throughout God’s Word and listen to the stories of those around me,

I discovered how beautiful it is to live on the other side of the veil.

In 2 Corinthians 3:16–18,

Paul tells us that whenever anyone turns to the Lord,

the veil is taken away.

Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

And as we live with unveiled faces,

we reflect the glory of the Lord and are transformed

as we continue growing in Him.

That is the Unveiled Living life.

A life where the veil is removed.
A life marked by freedom.
A life that reflects Jesus.

I cannot think of a more beautiful way to live than unveiled.

Soul-deep freedom. That’s what Unveiled Living is all about.

It’s not about doing more. It’s about finally breathing. It’s about digging into God’s Word, letting truth wash over the weary places, and realizing you were never meant to carry all this alone.

The red poppy is our reminder. It blooms in war zones—

because beauty still rises from broken ground. So can you.

This space was created for people like us—who love Jesus deeply, battle silently, and are tired of trying to keep it all together. Here, you’re safe to be real, to laugh again, to cry if you need to,

and to grow into the person God already sees.

You don’t have to hide anymore.

Let’s live unveiled… together.
