About Unveiled Living
If we were sitting across the table right now with coffee in hand, I’d probably tell you that Unveiled Living didn’t begin with a business plan, a ministry strategy, or even a name.
It began in 1997, right in the middle of a hard season of my own life.
I had been asked to speak at a retreat, and the pastor’s wife gave me one instruction: “Just bring joy.” So we laughed. A lot. One woman nearly peed her pants, which still makes me laugh all these years later.
But somewhere in the middle of all that laughter, the conversation got real.
I remember saying, “I’m going to lift the veil off my face and tell you what’s really going on.”
I didn’t know it then, but that moment planted the seed for Unveiled Living.
For years, I thought a lot about the veil as the things we hide behind — pain, disappointment, shame, failure, fear, the parts of our stories we would rather nobody see. And I still believe there is incredible power in telling the truth about where we’ve been. Our stories remind someone else that they are not walking alone.
But over the years, God has taken me deeper into what unveiled living really means.
In 2 Corinthians 3:16–18, Paul tells us that when we turn to the Lord, the veil is removed. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And with unveiled faces, we behold Him and are transformed more and more into His likeness.
That changes everything.
Unveiled Living isn’t simply about being real about our stories. It’s about knowing Jesus more deeply, becoming rooted in the truth of His Word, and allowing His Spirit to keep transforming the way we live.
That is where freedom grows.
Today, our heart is to help people develop a faith that goes deeper than the surface — a faith rooted in Jesus, grounded in Scripture, alive in the presence of God, and able to hold when real life gets real.
We still laugh around here. And we do that a lot! We still speak the truth. We still make room for the messy parts of life. But we also dig. We ask questions. We open the Word. We worship. We learn. We grow.
Because there is always more of Jesus to know.
The red poppy has become a beautiful reminder for us along the way. Poppies can rise from ground that has known devastation, reminding us that broken ground does not get the final word.
And neither does the veil.
When our roots grow deep in Christ, freedom is unveiled.
That is the life we’re pursuing together.
Grow deeper. Live freer. Walk unveiled.

Our Mission
Our mission is to help people grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus, become rooted in the truth of His Word, and live out a faith that is real, strong, and free.
Grow Deeper
We want to know Jesus — not just know about Him. We make room for Scripture, prayer, worship, honest questions, and the kind of discipleship that keeps drawing us closer to Him.
Grow Together
Faith was never meant to be lived in isolation. We learn from one another, share our stories, laugh together, pray together, and make room for real life around the table.
Live Unveiled
As our roots grow deeper in Christ, freedom begins showing up in how we think, live, love, and walk with God. We want to live with nothing hidden between us and Him — fully alive in the freedom He has given us.

Founder & Visionary
Tracee Padilla
Tracee Padilla is the founder and visionary behind Unveiled Living, where her heart beats for helping others ditch the pressure to perform and walk in the beautiful, unfiltered freedom God invites us into. She’s all about shining the light of Jesus as far and wide as possible—whether through Bible studies, books, worship, or real talk that hits home.
Her ministry journey started as a missionary kid in Spain and has taken her through more than 25 years of serving in roles like Youth Pastor, Worship Leader, Missionary, and Girls Ministry Director. These days, she’s leading worship, teaching the Word, and creating resources that help others grow deeper in their faith—no fluff, just Jesus.
Her favorite titles? Wife to Edwin (the creative brain behind all Unveiled Living media), mom to three incredible adult kids, Grammee to five beautiful grandbabies, and honorary servant to Mr. Kiko the cat—who runs the house, obviously.
Tracee makes her home in North Carolina, where she’s usually writing with a coffee in hand, music playing, and her heart wide open to whatever God wants to do next.

Connections Manager
Janice Conyers
Janice lives in the beautiful state of New Hampshire with her husband, William—who also happens to be the Executive Pastor at their church—and their sweet pup, Mia. She’s the proud mama of two amazing adult kids, Jonathan and Lydia, and mother-in-law to Michael.
Recently ordained alongside her husband, Janice is stepping boldly into a new season of ministry with hearts wide open and sleeves rolled up. Her background is wonderfully eclectic—including years as an expat in Japan—and her friends lovingly refer to her as a true “Jan-of-all-trades.”
She’s all about Jesus, worship, writing, glamping, event planning, cooking, and traveling. With 20+ years of experience in office and event management, Janice is now leaning into her next big leap—writing her first book and launching a lifestyle blog designed to uplift, encourage, and inspire. Whether she’s planning a gathering or penning her next chapter, Janice is passionate about creating spaces (online and in person) that reflect God’s heart and point others to His goodness.
It Takes a Team
Unveiled Living may have started with one story, but it has never been built by one person.
There are writers who pour their hearts onto the page, friends who pray and serve behind the scenes, churches who open their doors, volunteers who show up when there’s work to do, and people who believe in what God is building here enough to keep saying, “How can I help?”
We’re incredibly grateful for every person who has become part of this story.
And now, Unveiled Living Ministry is also honored to serve as a ministry department of Artists in Christian Testimony International (ACT Intl), giving us nonprofit covering as we continue growing and following wherever God leads next.
We’re building this together — and there’s always room for one more chair at the table.
